This wonderful Pictorial plan of London 1933 was created by Geographia themselves a London based company who specialised in producing fold up type pocket maps. Geographia was founded in 1911 by Alexander Gross a Hungarian immigrant. This particular map focuses on Central London from the Hammersmith Bridge and Wormwood scrubs to the west and features Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace and as far as Whitechapel and the London Docks to the east. The pictorial style captures many of London's famous monuments and buildings including Trafalgar Square, Marble Arch, Cleopatra's Needle and the Royal Albert Hall plus many more. Indeed the arts feature prominently with inset maps of London Theatreland and cinemas. An index covers places of interest too. All railway and underground stations are also marked.

This is a truly wonderful, full-colour map which is very detailed and pleasing to the eye. It is sure to be a conversation piece in any living room.
