This striking piece was created by renowned artist John Rapkin and faithfully recreates Sheffield as it was in the 1850s. Sheffield is shown as a bustling industrialized town that was at the heart of the world's steel industry. It faithfully recreates the two railway stations, the River Don, the River Sheaf, workhouses, churches, hospitals and other sites of interest.
Although digitally cleaned in order to remove blemishes and most signs of ageing it keeps the look, feel and integrity of the original.
This vibrant work brings to life part of our history and is a masterpiece of it's kind. This classic piece would look stunning mounted and would form a centrepiece of any room.
