London 1944 As Seen by an A.R.P. Observer on the Roof of the Bank of England in the Summer of That Year.
This is a reproduction of a rare and attractive map that was drawn by a member of the bank staff, Arthur Bond, which he originally prepared to serve as a “Roofspotters’ Guide” during the time of the flying bomb menace. It would appear that the bank produced a small number, possibly 500 copies only, for presentation to employees and others.
