This is a unique print designed in our own studio. Faithfully recreating a London pigeon's eye view flying at approximately 700 metres over the capital. In the immediate foreground is Buckingham Palace which has served as the monarch's official residence since 1837 at the beginning of Queen Victoria's reign, St James' Palace formerly fulfilled that function. At the far end of James' Park are 2 more famous London Landmarks. Westminster Abbey has been the location of every coronation since 1066 including Charles III on 6th May 2023. It was also the venue for William and Kate's marriage in 2011. Over the road is the Palace of Westminster more commonly known as the Houses of Parliament. The modern day Parliament was rebuilt between 1840-1876 the former structure being destroyed by fire in 1836. The London Eye is one of the Capital's more modern London landmarks and is the focal point of New Year's celebrations. The Eye was first opened on 31st December 1999, stands 135 metres and has 32 passenger capsules each capable of holding up to 25 people.

In the middle distance can be seen St Paul's Cathedral, The Sky Garden, Tower Bridge, The Tower of London and the Shard on the Southbank. In the far distance can be seen the skyline of Canary Wharf near the Isle of Dogs. This development opened in the early 1990s and is a major financial centre of London.

This is a highly sought-after work and is sure to form an interesting conversation piece to any living room. This piece looks stunning mounted as shown in our 20" x 16" framed edition.
