This charming Gastronomic Italy map was commissioned by the Italian National Tourist Board and designed by Umberto Zimelli, a former student of the Academy of Fine arts in Ravenna. Very pleasing to the eye and yet full of information too! Italian favourite food and drinks such as Pizza, Ricotta, Cannoli, Marsala, Bistecca and Pesto are cleverly woven into an Italian map. These charming gastronomic illustrations are suitably complimented with a sea maiden, vibrant guitarist, a sunny compass and classic scroll titles. Italian regions are clearly shown along with the islands of Sicily and Sardinia. This print would look especially fitting in an Italian restaurant or any lover of Italian food.
