This is our reworking of the classic print by Henry Gawthorn 'St. Andrews, The Home of the Royal and Ancient Game' commissioned by LNER. Completed in 1927 this work depicts golfers on the old course at St Andrews, with bathers on West Sands and at the edge of the course, and the Royal and Ancient Club House and the town in background.

The Age of Steam continues to hold a romanticism and fascination from those halcyon days of yesteryear.
