This is our reworking of the classic print by David Shephard 'Service by Night' commissioned by British Railways. Completed in 1955 this work depicts a train leaving King's Cross station at night, passing signal gantries set against a smoky and cloudy sky.
The Age of Steam continues to hold a romanticism and fascination from those halcyon days of yesteryear.
